Funerals - Honouring Life

I have a special interest in being able to work with families that are going through extremely difficult times - that of losing a loved one. No matter what the circumstances the loss and grief is devastating to those left behind.

At this time you need support, understanding and compassion. You need a professional to guide you through the process of the funeral service so you can say what needs to be said to honor and farewell a life lost. By remembering and respecting the loved one's memory, the friends and family of the deceased can slowly move forward and commence the healing and growth that often follows a death in the family.

As a trained Funeral Celebrant I will work with you and create a ceremony that tells the story of the special person who has left this life. I will visit you in your home or my office to discuss your needs and to plan the service. Together we will design a unique and truly amazing ceremony including all of the special personal aspects you may want in the funeral service. There are many rituals that can be included in the service that make a symbolic gesture to honor the person's life such as lighting candles, balloon release etc. I can design a beautiful and unique ceremony that is full of meaning and spiritualism in a non denominational way; or I can include religious content for those who would like a more traditional ceremony.

It is advisable for family members and friends to be involved in the service if at all possible. When family or friends deliver the eulogy the service tends to be more intimate and personal. On occasion the family prefer the eulogy to be presented by the celebrant on behalf of the family, and I would be pleased and proud to assist in this capacity as requested.

As a Funeral Celebrant it is a humbling experience to be invited to honour and celebrate the life of a loved one. I will work in partnership with the Funeral Director to ensure that the service is delivered to the highest standard. I, as the civil celebrant would normally conduct services in the Funeral Home, The Crematorium or the Cemetery. A copy of your ceremony will be presented to you at the conclusion of the service.

Testimonial - What a Privilege Help Celebrate a Life!

Having you being the celebrant for the celebration of my fathers life was a blessing. Your empathy , compassion and words were such a comfort for my mother and my family. Your ability to include all those at the service and make them feel such a part of the proceedings speaks volumes of the person that you are Rhonda. I just can't thank you enough and I hope that others will be as fortunate as my family was to have you as the Celebrant during such a difficult time. Thankyou Xx
